When I cycled around the Baltic Sea in 2018, I filled many sketchbooks with drawings inspired by the journey. Getting into a habit of drawing daily was something that I wanted to keep alive even after I returned home, and so I decided to start a project where I would draw something every day to help to remind me that I still did interesting things worth drawing, even if I wasn't travelling the world. The only rule was that I had to draw something that I'd seen on that day.
It was important for me not to be precious with my art, and not everything came out well, but I kept this up for several years, and once Covid hit, I clung to these daily drawings to keep me sane.
In total, I drew every day for three and a half years, with fourteen sketchbooks filled. These are the highlights from 2019 - 2021
